(2) General Credits
Note: CEUs for this particular course are for NJ social workers, and are not valid in NY state.

Do you struggle to engage people outside the social work community in conversations about policy?

Would you like the chance to strategize about how to channel growing public frustrations into actionable solutions?

Do you have ideas to contribute to a tool kit for other members facing these challenges?

Then you may be interested in this interactive workshop on messaging and poverty. Using segments from the documentary film Dream On, a panel discussion, and a moderated group conversation, participants will help develop a toolkit on how to effectively discuss poverty issues in the current context

Please note that this event is open only to members of the Anti-Poverty Network of New Jersey and of the National Association of Social Workers - NJ Chapter. Please be sure that your membership renewal is up to date. If you are not yet a member, this is a great opportunity to join the movement

V. DuWayne Battle, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Rutgers University School of Social Work
