This advanced workshop will provide a cutting edge presentation for clinicians seeking to enhance their understanding and skill related to the assessment of mental health disorders in the ICD10/DSM-5. This presentation will familiarize participants with the new diagnoses and criteria for major mental health disorders utilizing both lecture and case practice examples. The primary emphasis of the training is on understanding how these changes might impact client care and knowing what modification might be necessary to implement these revisions into practice.

Learning Objectives:
1. Participants will learn the organizational changes made to the ICD-10 and DSM-5.
2. Participants will be able to describe the modifications made to the multi-axial system in the DSM-5.
3. Participants will practice utilizing the new ICD-10/DSM-5 criteria for diagnosing case examples.
