CONTINUING EDUCATION (Non-NASW Sponsored) *

(NASW#9.4.17)
THERE’S NO HEALTH WITHOUT MENTAL HEALTH
BREATHING AND LEARNING THROUGH THE VAGAL NERVE

Presented by Rev. Karen E. Herrick, PhD, LCSW, LMSW, CADC
September 18, 2017 from 6:00-9:15 pm
Held at United Methodist Church
247 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701
Cost: $68 (3-hour workshop)
3 CEU hours approved for social workers by NASW-NJ Approval #172303-0536
The purpose of this interactive workshop is to show how the vagus nerve (The Polyvagal Theory: Porges 2011) helps an individual to understand the neurophysiological processes of their body and their reactions to other people and their environment. This is a new brain-body science that can demystify some features related to trauma and stress that have caused psychiatric disorders such as PTSD, autism, depression and anxiety. A healthier mental state can then be created.
Register at www.spiritualexperiences.info.  $68 by PayPal or check. For more information call 732 530.8513

*While these are not NASW-NJ courses, as a service to our members we will only run ads for programs that have documented approval by NASW-NJ, NASW-National, or the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), or which are exempt from CE regulations of the NJ Board of SW Examiners.
