NASW-NJ PACE Endorses Candidates for 2017 Election

NASW’s PACE (Political Action for Candidate Election) has endorsed candidates in the upcoming state and local elections on November 7, 2017. As a political action committee, PACE endorses and financially contributes to candidates from any party who support NASW’s policy agenda. Our endorsements are made based upon an evaluation of a legislator's voting support on a portfolio of key bills we support. Legislators with a voting score of 80% or above will earn an NASW PACE endorsement. This year several legislators scoring below 80% earned endorsements after our investigations determined that their score was influenced by unavoidable absences from the voting sessions. NASW-NJ members are denoted in teal. Non-NASW, social workers are denoted in blue.

We encourage you to take a look at the NASW PACE endorsed candidates below as you prepare to cast your vote next week.
