Topic: Mediation; An Adjunct To Impasse
Presenter: Lisa Wolman, MSW
Lisa Wolman, MSW is the owner of The Wolman Mediation Group, L.L.C., with locations in both northern New Jersey as well as in Manhattan. For over 20 years, she has succeeded in bringing peaceful resolution to the most contentious relationships, even under the most challenging conditions. Her extensive training includes directing an inner-city foster care program, supervising group homes for troubled teens, and clinical social worker at the Psychiatric Institute of Washington D.C. Currently, Ms. Wolman serves on the New Jersey Court Roster of Family Mediators, and dedicates time as an assistant trainer at the Center for Mediation and Training in New York.
Ms. Wolman is sensitive to the complex emotional and financial issues associated with marriage, family, divorce, and business relationships. Her former clients tout her as “the mediator who can save relationships” because she helps them avoid expensive and lengthy litigation by fostering sustainable compromise, productive communication, and most importantly, true insight into what is fair. Ms. Wolman’s unique strategy for successful mediation is detailed in her soon to be released guidebook, entitled “Agree to Disagreement”, which will serve as an educational tool for colleagues and clients.
