1. Understand the interaction between the physical health /emotional health /spiritual health for the Latino population in NJ
2. Understand the psychosocial issues present for the immigrant population, including those undocumented immigrants
3. Understand how the immigrant Latino population uses and does not use health care, i.e. issues in diabetic, cancer treatment and other diagnoses
4. Understand the role of family in the Latino culture (La Familia)
5. Understand how a social worker can reach Latino patients to promote the best health outcome possible
