(5) Clinical Credits
The
ability to assess and diagnose is a core competency for mental health
providers. Upcoming changes in the new DSM manual will require practitioners to
modify their current understanding of diagnostic symptoms and categories. This
one-day workshop will describe the development of the DSM-5, the changes to the
organizational structure, and major revisions to the existing diagnoses.
