NASW-NJ Awards
Celebrating Excellence and Service in the Field of Social Work
The Executive Committee of the NASW-NJ Board of Directors acts as the Awards Committee for the NASW-NJ Annual Awards presented at our Annual Conference in May 2010. The Awards Committee has elected to make NJ's award criteria coincide with the criteria used for NASW national award nominations. All members are invited to nominate individuals for these presitgious awards: Social Worker of the Year, Public Elected Official of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, and Public Citizen of the Year. In so doing, you may also wish to nominate an outstanding individual for the NASW national award.
You must be a member of the association to submit a nomination for awards. The NASW-NJ Executive Committee will review nominations and determine recipients of the awards. The recipients will be personally notified and we will announce their selection in FOCUS. Deadline for 2010 awards is Friday, February 26, 2010. Please email the nomination form and all materials to Mary Jean Weston at MJWeston@naswnj.org
