NASW-NJ 2010 Endorsements Are Here!

NASW-NJ's PACE (Political Action for Candidate Election) Committee is pleased to announce its endorsements for candidates in the upcoming state and national elections. We encourage you as social workers to be politically active in order to shape the policies that affect clients and represent the profession's interests. We believe that it is far easier to elect the right people to make the right policies than spend time and money later to get the wrong people to do the right thing.

Social workers understand how policies affect people more than anyone and PACE gives our 7.600 members a strong voice in shaping progressive policies that help those we serve. Increasingly, local, state, and federal policy-making and legislation involves social service issues. We must vote for those candidates that we believe will stand by our values and mission as social workers.
